Dear Parent/Guardian of our 21st CCLC Afterschool Program scholar:

The last day of programming for all five of our 21st Century Community Learning Center
Grant Program sites was Saturday, June 10, 2017. We thank you for enrolling your child in our program and hope that they enjoyed the academic and enrichment activities that we offered this school year.
Although the Poughkeepsie City School District did not receive the Round 7 grant to
continue the 21st CCLC program for next year, we are pursuing other funding to allow us
to meet the afterschool needs of our scholars. We are hopeful that we will be able to
continue to offer the same level of high-quality, extended school day programs to our scholars that we did this year. In pursuing this goal, we once again reaffirm the
Poughkeepsie City School District's commitment to delivering on the promise of a
high-quality, world-class education for every scholar, every day, in every classroom.

To celebrate the hard work that our scholars have done throughout the school year in our 21st CCLC academic programs, each program site hosted a Gallery Walk on Monday, June 12, 2017. Follow this link to a slide show of activities.

Welcome to our 21st Century Community Learning Center website. We are excited to announce that the Poughkeepsie City School District (PCSD) has been granted 1.2 million dollars in the 2016 -
2017 academic year to continue our rich and valuable extended school day learning opportunities.

The high-quality, extended school day 21st Century programs offered by our community partners in collaboration with our dedicated PCSD staff supports our Mission Literacy initiative and, of equal importance, celebrates and acknowledges Poughkeepsie City School District's commitment to deliver on the promise of a high-quality, world-class education for every scholar, every day, in every classroom.
